The River

Every river follows a different course. So does every life.

The River follows a young woman growing up, leaving home, and gradually discovering a life that belongs to her.

There are choices along the way—education, music, work, family, friendship, love—and moments when one direction seems to require giving up another. But lives rarely divide as neatly as the lines we draw on a map.

Some choices become turning points.

Some possibilities disappear.

Others travel with us farther than we expected.

And sometimes the direction of a life changes because of a question we weren't expecting anyone to ask.
