GLENDALE RITES UNITE NURSE AND U.S.C. LAW STUDENT

  Daniel stevens and his bride, the former Mary Lou Allen, ertr honrymooning today in Santa Barbara following their marriage Wednesday evening in a formal ceremony at Wee Kirk of the Heather, Glendale.

The ceremony was read by the Rev. George Stevens, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist church, and the wedding music was provided by Leonard Morganhalter and Miss Willa Ruble of Los Angeles.

The bride wore a formal wedding outfit of white satin with lace insets, fashioned with long sleves and a court train.  With this she wore a long tulle veil, halo headress and caried a cluster of gardenias, lillies-of-the-valley and sweet peas.  She was attended by her sister Miss Jean Allen and Miss Elaine Heacockm waring pastel taffeta, with sashes of fuchsia satin.

Mr. Stevens was attended by his brother, Dr. G. Arnold Stevens of Glendale.  Ushers were Leonard Bushnell and Dick Ryan of Los Angeles. Joyce Haddock of Los Angeles served as flower girl.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bridegrooms parents the Rev. and Mrs. George Stevens in Glendale.  The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Allen, of West Covina Boulevard, the bride grew up in thes community, attended the Baldwin Park elementary schools and was graduated from Covina union high school.  She is employed as a nurse in the Glendale hospital.

Mr Stevens has made his home in Glendale for a number of years and will complete a course at the university of Southern California law school in June.  The couple will make their home in Glendale
